FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you tutor the full IB continuum?
Yes — PYP and MYP as well as the Diploma Programme, across HL and SL subjects, plus Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay. For the Diploma we work to the current subject guides, which are revised on a rolling basis by subject.
What support can you give on the Extended Essay and internal assessments?
We coach the skills — research question, methodology, structure, data treatment and evaluation — and give feedback on the student's own drafts. Under IB academic integrity rules the work must be the student's own and is assessed through the school, so we never contribute content.
Do you cover Cambridge IGCSE and International A-Level?
Yes, across the mainstream subjects, using CAIE past papers and mark schemes. Cambridge specifications differ from UK domestic ones in both content and paper structure, so lessons work from the CAIE syllabus code rather than an equivalent UK spec.
How do I choose between the IB Diploma and A-Levels?
Broadly: the IB keeps six subjects plus the core and suits students who are strong across the board; A-Levels go deeper into three or four and suit students with a clear specialism. Both are widely recognised. Which fits better depends on the student and the schools available to you, and it is worth checking your target universities' published requirements before committing.
We move countries often. Can tutoring stay consistent?
That is much of why we exist. Lessons are online and the same tutor can continue across a move, which matters most for families changing curricula mid-course — we can bridge from what was covered in the previous system to what the new one assumes.
Which time zones can lessons be booked in?
Our tutors work across a wide spread of time zones, so lessons can usually be scheduled to suit wherever you currently are. Tell us your location and preferred times when you enrol and we match a tutor who teaches in your window.
