What we teach
Accounting Tutoring
Accounting is unforgiving of shaky foundations: a student who is not fully secure on double-entry will struggle with every topic built on top of it, however hard they work on the later material.
So we check the foundation first and rebuild it if needed, then move through the financial statements, adjustments and analysis in the order the syllabus assumes.
We cover Cambridge IGCSE and International A-Level Accounting, other A-Level accounting specifications, and the accounting content within IB Business Management.
Exam boards and qualifications we cover

In the lesson
What a lesson actually looks like
A diagnostic first lesson
The tutor works through a short set of problems to find where understanding actually breaks down — which is usually one or two topics earlier than the one causing trouble in class.
Teaching, then practice under exam conditions
Concepts are taught from first principles on the shared whiteboard, then applied to past-paper questions from the student's own board, timed and marked against the real mark scheme.
Feedback the student can act on
Each lesson ends with what went well, the specific technique to fix, and targeted practice before the next session. Parents get regular progress updates.
Accounting tutoring starts from USD 15 per hour. See all plans.
FAQ
Accounting tutoring — your questions
My child keeps getting the trial balance wrong. Where do we start?
With double-entry itself, not with the trial balance. Errors there are nearly always a symptom rather than the problem, and time spent re-securing the debit/credit logic pays back across the whole syllabus.
Do you teach the ratio interpretation as well as the calculation?
Yes — and interpretation is where the marks concentrate. Calculating a current ratio is one mark; explaining what it implies for this business, with its limitations, is several.
