Cambridge AS & A Level Tutoring
AS and A Level tuition for university entry at home and abroad, with IBCC equivalence in view.
Cambridge AS and A Levels are the pre-university qualification of choice in Pakistan's international schools, and IBCC grants an HSSC equivalence on the basis of three A Level subjects. That equivalence is what keeps local medical and engineering admission open, while the grades themselves drive offers from universities in the UK, US, Canada and Australia. Our specialist tutors cover mathematics, the sciences, economics, business and psychology across CAIE and Edexcel, focusing on the data-response, extended-writing and multi-step problem-solving that separates an A* from a B.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which curricula do you tutor in Pakistan?
We cover every mainstream pathway: the National Curriculum of Pakistan (Grades 1–8), Matric (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC — FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, I.Com and FA) for FBISE and the provincial BISE boards, AKU-EB, Cambridge O Level, IGCSE and AS/A Level, and the IB Diploma. We also prepare students for the MDCAT, ECAT, NUST NET, IELTS and the Digital SAT.
Is O Level equivalent to Matric in Pakistan?
Yes — the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) issues an SSC (Matric) equivalence for Cambridge O Level once a student has passes in at least eight subjects, including Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat. At the next stage, three A Level subjects are required for an HSSC (Intermediate) equivalence. Our tutors plan subject choices with that formula in mind.
How is MBBS and BDS admission merit calculated in Pakistan?
Merit is weighted 50% MDCAT, 40% FSc (HSSC) and 10% Matric (SSC). Candidates must also clear the MDCAT passing mark — 52% for MBBS and 47% for BDS. Because Matric and FSc together carry half the weight, board results matter long before test day, which is why we tutor the syllabus and the entry test as one plan.
Do you prepare students for the MDCAT and ECAT?
Yes. For the MDCAT we work through the PMDC learning objectives with the paper's real weighting — Biology 81 questions, Chemistry 45, Physics 36, English 9 and Logical Reasoning 9, across 180 MCQs in 3 hours 30 minutes with no negative marking. For engineering we coach UET Lahore's 100-MCQ ECAT and the NUST NET, plus timed full-length mocks for both.
Can lessons be taught in Urdu as well as English?
Yes. Several of our Pakistan tutors teach bilingually and will explain a concept in Urdu when that is what makes it land, while keeping exam vocabulary and written answers in the language of the paper. Tell us your preference when you enrol and we'll match accordingly.
Do lessons fit around school and academy timings?
They do. Tutors schedule in Pakistan Standard Time, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, so lessons sit around school, academy classes and Ramadan timings. If your schedule shifts during exam season, we adjust the plan rather than the other way round.
