What we teach
Spanish Tutoring
Spanish rewards regular contact more than intensive cramming. Weekly conversation with a tutor who corrects precisely beats hours of solitary vocabulary lists.
We teach grammar explicitly — the tense system, ser and estar, the subjunctive — while keeping most of the lesson in Spanish, and we build the exam technique each board requires alongside genuine fluency.
We cover GCSE and IGCSE Spanish, A-Level Spanish including film and literature, and IB Language B at HL and SL.

In the lesson
What a lesson actually looks like
A diagnostic first lesson
The tutor works through a short set of problems to find where understanding actually breaks down — which is usually one or two topics earlier than the one causing trouble in class.
Teaching, then practice under exam conditions
Concepts are taught from first principles on the shared whiteboard, then applied to past-paper questions from the student's own board, timed and marked against the real mark scheme.
Feedback the student can act on
Each lesson ends with what went well, the specific technique to fix, and targeted practice before the next session. Parents get regular progress updates.
Spanish tutoring starts from USD 15 per hour. See all plans.
FAQ
Spanish tutoring — your questions
Do you teach European or Latin American Spanish?
Both — tutors are matched to what the student's course and examiner expect. The differences that matter for exams are mostly lexical and a small number of grammatical points, and we make students aware of them rather than pretending they do not exist.
My child freezes in the speaking exam. Can that be fixed?
Usually yes, and mostly through rehearsal volume. Freezing is a fluency-under-pressure problem rather than a knowledge problem, and it responds to repeated, low-stakes practice with recovery phrases the student has genuinely internalised.
