What we teach

Arabic Tutoring

Arabic teaching has to start by being honest about which Arabic: Modern Standard for examinations and formal writing, and a spoken dialect for conversation. Confusing the two is the most common reason progress stalls.

We teach Modern Standard Arabic for the curriculum and exam requirements, and can work in Gulf or Levantine dialect for conversational fluency where that is the goal.

Provision covers the UAE MOE Arabic curriculum for both native and non-native streams, IGCSE and A-Level Arabic, and IB Language A and B.

In the lesson

What a lesson actually looks like

1

A diagnostic first lesson

The tutor works through a short set of problems to find where understanding actually breaks down — which is usually one or two topics earlier than the one causing trouble in class.

2

Teaching, then practice under exam conditions

Concepts are taught from first principles on the shared whiteboard, then applied to past-paper questions from the student's own board, timed and marked against the real mark scheme.

3

Feedback the student can act on

Each lesson ends with what went well, the specific technique to fix, and targeted practice before the next session. Parents get regular progress updates.

Arabic tutoring starts from USD 15 per hour. See all plans.

FAQ

Arabic tutoring — your questions

My child speaks Arabic at home but struggles at school. Why?

Because home Arabic is a dialect and school Arabic is Modern Standard — different vocabulary, different grammar, different register. Heritage speakers often need more support with formal writing than families expect, and it is not a reflection on their fluency.

Do you follow the UAE MOE curriculum?

Yes, for both the native-speaker and non-native streams, including the assessment structure schools in the Emirates use.
