FAQ
Tutoring in United Arab Emirates — your questions
Do you cover the MOE and British curricula?
Yes — the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum, the British pathway (IGCSE and A-Level), the American pathway (Common Core and AP), the IB, and Indian CBSE. The Emirates run all of these side by side, often within a few streets, so tutors are matched to the school's actual curriculum.
Do you prepare students for the EmSAT?
Yes. We prepare students for EmSAT Achieve across English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and can run it alongside a student's school curriculum rather than as separate, competing revision.
Do you teach Arabic for both native and non-native speakers?
Yes, and they are genuinely different courses. The MOE runs separate native and non-native Arabic streams with different expectations, and heritage speakers who are fluent at home often need more support with Modern Standard Arabic writing than families expect.
Are lessons available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the other Emirates?
All lessons are online and one-to-one, so location within the UAE makes no difference to availability — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and the Northern Emirates are all served by the same tutor pool.
How do lessons work around the UAE school week?
Tutors schedule in Gulf Standard Time around the Monday-to-Friday school week, with weekend and evening availability, and adjusted timings through Ramadan when school hours shift.
Can you help students transferring between curricula?
This is one of the most common requests in the UAE — a family moves and a student switches from CBSE to British, or American to IB. We start with a diagnostic against the new curriculum, because the gap is usually specific topics the previous system covered in a different year rather than a general shortfall.
